I was the lead copywriter working on launching -196 in the UK.










Kobini -196
We got liquid to lips by bringing a taste of Japan to Shoredeitch and across the UK, with a pop-up Kobini -196 (a japanese grocery store) . Once you solved a riddle in our grocery section, you were transported through. a lemon freeze crush experience and into our hidden Izakaya (Japanese speakeasy) via the fridge.
Like the method of our drinks, it doesn't make sense until it does!









Even taking over the 196 bus, which just happend to pass by one of our festival sites

Working with influencers, we reached over 2million people on social media
